The Information Behind the World Wide Web & the Internet

 The Internet- The internet is a huge network of computers that are linked all over the world. Through the internet you can share information and be able to communicate to people all over the globe with an internet connection. The internet was created by two people, Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf. The first research was done by military funded operations, and the network connected 4 computers on the internet. Now a days people use the internet to share funny posts (memes) with their fellow classmates.

The World Wide Web- The world wide web is an information system in which the internet plays a part in. The internet allows documents to be connected to other documents by links, in which enabling the user to search for information by moving from one document to another. The world wide web was created by Tim Berners-Lee & Robert Cailliau. The world wide web was used originally for communication between workers. Now a days people to use the world wide web to find information and talk to fellow humans and friends.

The Comparison- Both the internet and the world wide web have some huge similarities on how they are used today. A couple being that they are both used to communicate between people and to share information across the world.
